SOTP

State of Me: I'm trying to be really disciplined about my threads because I've found if I get more than about ten I get really overwhelmed. And that's between two games, so you can see how I try to keep it to one active thread per pup (But obvs EPs don't count where I'll have multiple threads unser one post). In daily life I'm dealing with pain, but there's nothing new about that. And if everything goes my way, by this time next month I'll have a new job. I've got a 2nd interview on Thursday for a job developer with a nonprofit in the city and I'd really like to get it. I've also had an interview with the local community college to be a curriculum designer and help them get their prostetics/orthotics program online so people can get their degrees by distance, which is VERY exciting and I want it very much, but uni's hire so slowly. Glaciers move faster. So we'll see what comes of that. But no matter what, I'm actively looking for a new job because anyone who follows my journal or my twitter knows how miserable I am at my job and how much I cannot work for my boss.

Preston's next EP will be him in the salon taking on new clients. He's been in school for 5 months now and I'm no expert on becoming a stylist but I have a feeling he'd be at least doing some stuff, even if it's basic things along the lines of Great CLips quality haircuts. He's hoing to be just beginning his coloring unit which excites him so much. But that's all the bland stuff of his day to day that basically lives in my head and has no bearing on play. What DOES have bearing on play is Lys's KIRIN plot. With her permission I am going to do a one shot of Preston getting involved with the group and he'll be undergoing gene therapy to be a little more super than he is now. I haven't settled on what kind of ability he's going to gain, I keep waffling between enhanced strength and enhanced psychic ability (more like some kind of psyonic or ~kinesis kind of ability more than reading thoughts). I'm going to write the one shot either Thursday or Friday to kick it off. Then I'll be tagging him around with the thought in mind that he's going through all this. If anyone would like a thread, I'm all for throwing up a start for something private if there's no convenient EP or GP to use. Just poke me.


John from Cock
John is new and I'm so pleased I chose to app him. He has a particular voice, in canon and in my head, and I am hoping I'm communicating it properly because for me he is a delight. I haven't got any plottish plans for him right now. I'm just getting him introduced and socialized a bit. I"ve really enjoyed all the threads I've had with him so far and he seems to be one of those pups who can easily find a reason to tag just about everything. His debut is still open, though it's slowed down. I tagged him into the record store day post but in an effort to be conscientious I only tagged Fee because fellow Brit. John needs that right now. He's also got a thread with Lindsey which is delightful. He gave Linds tea in a mug with a bear holding a heart shaped balloon on it. IDK, it just cracked me up, ok? I haven't got any ideas for him at the moment since he's so new, but I love him and I want to play him all the time so if you want a thread with him and he doesnt' have a post or you want me to be sure to tag your pup or even if you want to start something private, I'm game.
